Autronic Melchers - LCD Handels GmbH

In 2001, AUTRONIC-MELCHERS LCD Handels GmbH joined forces with its sales partners to launch its own brand, aM-tec (AUTRONIC-MELCHERS Technology). The aM-tec brand spans a broad range of high-end LCD graphic and character modules, from 8x1 character modules up to 5.7" colour STN modules. The products are manufactured in China and Taiwan.

To comply with customer requirements as precisely as possible, the aM-tec range undergoes continuous expansion. Covering all common LCD technologies, it also includes custom LCD modules produced to clients’ specifications. Where order volumes are concerned, customers benefit from the flexibility of individual solutions, from one-off orders to relatively large volumes.

Semi-Custom Solutions

As an alternative to custom LCD modules, customers can opt for products from the standard aM-tec line which are then modified to comply with their specifications. Products suitable for modification are

• PCBs (e.g. modified hole arrangements, corner cutting, additional components etc.)
• Cable assemblies
• Pin connectors

aM-tec customers also benefit from our comprehensive, well-equipped warehouse enabling samples to be supplied at short notice. Demo sets with drive boards for all technologies are kept permanently in stock.
